Contract Let and the Cars to be Running by July 1.

 

            Messrs. Lord & Baker, president and secretary of the Waupaca Electric Light and Railway company, have let the contract to the Electrical Construction Company of Chicago to build and equip the electric railway from the Wisconsin Central depot to Grand View, Chain o’ Lakes, the cars to be ready to run by July 1.  Fine painted poles are being set in the city and next week iron, ties and poles are expected and the work commenced in earnest.
