WAUPACA COUNTY SEAT – The people of Waupaca Co. are again in a ferment on the subject of the location of their county seat. The question is to be voted upon at the coming election, and the interest it excites bids fair to swallow up all other issues. The contest upon this county seat matter in Waupaca has been prolonged as much by the intermeddling of outsiders – demagogues, land speculators and office hunters, as by any real difference of opinion among the people of the county. We heartily hope the thing will be definitely settled soon, and the county placed in a situation to redeem the outstanding orders on its Treasurer.

WAUPACA CO. – We have lately seen and conversed with several prominent Democrats form Waupaca Co., who all agree in the opinion that BARSTOW will carry the county by a respectable majority. Last year it gave one hundred and fifty majority for the fusionists.
