R.F.D. COUNTY SYSTEM

Established and will be in Operation after March 1st.

Thirty-nine Routes in the County.  Seven in Waupaca.

Postmaster Penney, kindly gives the press of this city an outline of the seven Rural Routes to take effect and be in operation from Waupaca after March 1.  Congressman Davidson deserves credit for his enthusiastic work in perfecting a complete Rural Delivery system to this county and in this work it is stated that our genial postmaster most ably assisted.

            Congressman Davidson writes as follows:

                                                                                                            January 16th, 1907

Editor Waupaca Republican:

Dear Sir: - I send you a copy of a letter just received from the Post office Department which give information concerning the county system of rural free delivery for Waupaca county.  You will notice the number of routes from each office is stated.  In connection with this is a recommendation that the post office at Symco and Norske be discontinued as the patrons of the post offices will all be served by the rural routes, hence no reason for their continuance.

                                                                                                Yours very truly,

                                                                                                J.H. Davidson.
